the story of RE5 is nothing like RE4. It's an actual sequel to the old games.

Yeah, you'll probably sort of be lost. Wesker's back and is the main villain (check the Umbrella Chronicles and Wesker's Report for how he came back), it involves the origins of the Progenitor Virus (the virus that led to the creation of all the viral agents Umbrella made), and various other things. |
