There are a couple of lines in the song that get me:" I think I caught his spirit later that same year. I'm sure I heard his echo in my newborn baby's tears." My dad passed away March 1996 and my daughter was born August 1996. He only got to hear a recording of her heartbeat before he passed away. I heard this song on the way to his funeral too. To this day I still can't watch the video. Great song,meaningful lyrics. It's hard to find that in most songs.Missy you and Merry Christmas dad !

My dad and I didn't see eye to eye and I wasn't there on the day his life ended, I miss him so much, more than I can say. This song was played at his funeral, I still cry everytime i listen to it 6months on. Merry Christmas pops, love you lots and miss you tons, rest in peace. Love always suzi xx
