Christina butchered this song in this rendition. She has an unparalleled voice and didn't need to sing it like the way she did to show off her vocal chops. Some songs have more strength by simply having it sung. The beauty of the original song was that it was like a smooth, luscious velvet ribbon, you could hear the emotion, sultriness and romance. Christina's version unfortunately had the vocal prowess but lacked real emotion, the performance was merely a display of vocal gymnastics.

Christina Aguilera does have an amazing voice. But this song is over done. this is a classic meant to convey feeling and emotion. Not to show off your vibrato skills which she does have.
