I was actually listening to Sleight of Hand today, and I wondered how it could actually surround you when you hear it. It's like they're playing around you. I guess that's kind of the point of Binaural, but still, no other song on the album builds a hollow chamber around me like this one.

The story is about a man who is stuck in a monotonous, boring life. Hes a victim of the working world. Getting up 9 to 5. Same routine every day. "hed wake up and pour himself into uniform" "lost on a road he knew by heart"In the second verse ed lets us know that this trouble guy escapes the real world by "hiding in his radio" and drifting"...While he escapes thru music..the "dirt turns to sand", meaning the stressful real world, turns into a heavenly beach that he can escape to.
