Bite Out Quarter

Ash Pen Pro

Upon meeting a spectator, the performer asks the spectator to write their name on a file card. The file card is burned with a lighter and allowed to burn to ashes in an ashtray. The performer gathers a handful of these ashes and rubs them into his forearm. As the ashes spread over the performer’s arm, the name of the spectator is revealed!!!

This special pen will allow you to perform the "ashes on arm" effect not only with great ease, but almost impromptu. In addition, it will open the doors to a wider range of presentational approaches.

This method is more simple and practical than any other method previously devised. The special pen will produce sharper and clearer messages on your arm or the back of your hand. In addition, you will now be able to make a message appear on a spectator’s arm, without the aid of a stooge.

Beginner Magic Tricks

One of the aspects that makes magic so appealing to so many, besides the mystery behind it, is that nearly anyone can learn how to do it. Of course, some magic tricks require very elaborate preparations. However, there are numerous beginner magic tricks that can be picked up almost immediately by someone who's just starting out.

The key to mastering your beginner magic tricks is practice. Try your magic moves in front of a mirror, or even better, video tape them so you can take your time to really analyze everything nuance of your performance. Be patient. Keep practicing. You'll succeed!

Here are few beginner magic tricks that are great starters ...

Money Magic World's Greatest Magic - coins have always held a prominent place in magicians repertoires but many have missed the wealth of magic potential in paper currency. As it turns out, the sheer variety of plots possible with paper money far exceeds what can be done with its metal counterparts.

On this volume, you'll learn a stunning bill transposition that occurs right in the spectators hand from Michael Ammar, torn and restored and even burned and restored bill routines from Jeff McBride, Dan Harlan and Tom Mullica, and topological miracles from Jay Sankey, Michael Close and Robert Neale. There's guaranteed spectator interest when you increase the denomination of bills, such as in Scotty York's routine, or even change plain paper into real money, as in Mark Leveridge's brilliant trick.

Ring on Rope - discover seven different approaches to the Ring on Rope from six masters. Aldo Colombini begins and ends this volume with two distinctly different and decidedly Aldo-esque routines. The first combines a plastic ring, a length of rope and some great gags into a routine that will amaze and entertain just about any audience. The other is a two-ring routine with many visual surprises. Daryl and Eric DeCamps both offer a routine with a small harness ring and a cord that are both perfect for walk-around performers while Flip showcases a routine with a linking ring and a piece of rope that can bring this classic of magic to the biggest stage. Mark Leveridge performs and teaches a simple three-phase routine that integrates a presentation that is guaranteed to get your audiences involved in the magic while Frank Balzerak presents a routine that not only uses some of the classic Ring and Rope sequences but also incorporates elements of the classic Cut and Restored Rope.

Sponge Balls - you'll find a sponge ball routine in almost every close-up performers repertoire and in this volume, you'll discover a virtual encyclopedia of sponge ball magic. Routines from thirteen of the best sponge ball workers of all time have been collected in one place for the first time, making this DVD the most comprehensive reference work on performing magic with sponge balls ever produced. You'll learn many unique vanishes, moves and stratagems to build your own routine or to plug into the routine you already do.

You'll see past masters such as Albert Goshman and Frank Garcia. You'll learn great basic routines from Daryl, Mark Leveridge and Steve Darci along with unique twists from Frank Balzerak, Jon Tremaine and Aldo Colombini. And, if you're looking for sensational ways to end your sponge ball routine, there are jaw-dropping endings by Flip, Eugene Burger and Roger Klause. For good measure, there are completely different takes on sponge ball work, such as Johnny Thompson's handling of Roy Benson's classic bowl routine and Michael Finney's routine, suitable even for large audiences. You'll never find more diversified and usable information about one of close-up magic's most ubiquitous effects gathered together in one place than in this amazing collection.
