Levitation has long been a staple illusion for magicians. However, it wasn't until David Blaine appeared on television with Street Magic that the audience first realized it was
possible to not only do levitation on the stage, but also on the streets in everyday situations.
Blaine was using the Balducci Levitation, which can be perfected by even young and inexperienced magicians.
