Levitation Trick
A good levitation trick doesn't always require the magician or
the magician's assistant to be levitated. In fact, many equally mesmerizing levitation tricks involve everyday
objects instead.
You've seen them ... the card levitation, the floating match, the floating
dollar bill. These are up close levitation tricks that absolutely astound the
audience.
Here are a few of the classics ...

Real
Floating Card Eric James - what some are calling the best of the best when it comes to close-up levitations. The performer shows his hands empty on both sides, then hands hand out or borrows a deck of cards for shuffling. A spectator then selects a card and places it on top of the deck.
The magician retrieves the deck and openly places it on his outstretched palm. He tells everyone to concentrate on the card as he starts his "meditation." After a few moments, the card eerily begins to rise higher and higher off the pack! It floats up and down in an amazingly smooth way as if the card is somehow floating on a cloud.
Now for the best part-the performer removes another card from the pack and waves it above, below and all around the card while it's floating in mid-air! The spectator's can look anywhere they want-this is angle free!
Floating Bill - Royal and Gabe Fajuri - on David Blaine's Magic Man TV Special, he features the floating dollar bill. Learn it here.
This booklet teaches one of the most astonishing, startling, visual tricks in all of magic. Imagine this: borrow a dollar bill ... crumple it into a loose ball ... set it on your open palm ... slowly, eerily and mysteriously, the bill rises off of your hand!
The secret of this incredible feat is described in detail inside this booklet. Thoroughly illustrated, concise instructions make learning this miracle easy. Additionally, included inside are enough of the special something for hundreds of performances, and the gimmick for a second version of the Floating Bill using an entirely different method! Bonus Effects: The instructions detail several astonishing bonus tricks, too. Youll learn how to divine the serial number of a borrowed bill, and a second version of the Floating Bill trick, for which a special gimmick has been included!
Floating
Sunglasses - Effect - The magician removes a
pair of sunglasses from his pocket. With a snap of the fingers, both arms on the
glasses unfold by themselves. After a few moments of concentration, the glasses
suddenly begin floating up and out of his right hand over to his left hand. The
glasses mysteriously fly up out of his hand again and begin spinning in midair.
Forming his hands into a loop, the glasses pass right through them, eliminating
suspicion of threads or wires. On command, the glasses fly down almost to the
floor, then all the way up to his face. Plucking the glasses out of the air, the
magician puts them on and takes his bow.
The Floating Glasses Comes With: Custom-Made, Gimmicked Sunglasses with Case,
Mesika's Roller with 500 feet of Invisible Thread inside, Special Wax,
Instructional Video, Fully Illustrated Instructional Booklet.
Shufton's
Ultimate Floating Match - Effect: Magician
displays and opens a book of matches. After removing a match, the Magus explains
that matches hold a "charge" similar to electricity. She/he
demonstrates that the removed match will readily come in contact with the other
matches in the book. By simply rubbing the match on the other matches in the
pack or on his sleeve, etc he claims that the match is now charged and will
resist the other matches.
The Magician raises the match above the
other matches in the pack and releases his hold on the match over the matchbook
with all but one finger touching it, and it remains suspended! The Magus
explains that "it seems the match may be attached to my finger - until I
pull my finger away!" and actions match the words! The match remains
suspended and floats above the matchbook! By waving a toothpick under, behind,
over and all around the floating match, the Magus demonstrates that there can be
no possible means of support!
He then plucks the match out of the air,
demonstrates again that there can be no possible support by passing the match
through the area in which it floated, and then he/she once again causes the
match to float! If desired, matchbook, match and toothpick can be handed out for
examination!
