A Ziploc bag is closed and placed on your palm. A borrowed signed coin is placed on top of the bag. The coin visibly penetrates the still sealed bag. It is really inside. Really! And you never touched it. Okito Coin Box Aluminum Quarter The magician shows a coin and a box Okito. He puts the coin inside the box and the lid, He waves the box to try that the coin is there, he places on the back of his hand, which supports a few centimeters over the table. He gives a flick on the box, the coin crosses the box and falls down on the table. The box is opened and is empty.
The magician places a BORROWED BILL flat on a table (not on his hand!). The spectator is instructed to point at the bill. Slowly and mysteriously the bill begins to fold in half, attracted to the spectator until it stops, touching his fingertip! The spectator moves his finger, causing the bill to continue folding itself up, slowly, following his every movement. The bill passes through six separate stages until it ends up folded in eighths, with the spectator`s finger resting on top of it! The bill is then picked up, unfolded, and shown cleanly on both sides. It is then refolded and tossed back on the table, where then the magician makes a final gesture, causing the folded bill to flip over on the table!
The spectator may instantly remove his bill from the table and examine it!
This routine is ready for you to immediately practice. Includes threaded practice bill with "dummy" practice wallet, special invisible thread and fully scripted patter. |
Coin MagicOne of the cool things about coin magic is that it often doesn't require anything more than a coin or two. And because it doesn't need much in the way of advance preparation, you can do coin magic nearly anywhere, at almost any time, even on the spur of the moment. Here's a little coin magic to show you what I mean. Try it out on your friends. This is called the Coin Optical Illusion. It requires three coins, all of the same denomination. Quarters are probably the best choice, though fifty-cent pieces will do nicely as well. The Effect: you rub two coins together and a third coin appears. How It's Done: Hold two, stacked coins between your thumb and forefinger, presenting them to the audience with a sideways view. Announce that by rubbing the coins together you'll create a third coin. Rub the coins against each other, back and forth ... this creates an optical illusion of three coins being present. When someone points out that it's only an optical illusion, close your hand into a fist. During this move of closing your hand, you add a coin that's been hidden in the classic palm position (when a coin is held tight between the fleshly base of your thumb and palm) into the mix. When you open it, show the audience that there are, in fact, three coins. Here are some coin magic illusions that you're sure to find entertaining: Coin Man Walking – features nine coin routines and three utility sleights/items from his professional repertoire.
